We’re thrilled to welcome Debasmita Dasgupta (aka Smita) to the agency.  Smita is a Singapore-based illustrator with a diploma in Comic Art from the California College of the Arts. Working with publishers around the world, Smita has illustrated a number of picture books in her expressive, richly coloured and textural style and enjoys drawing both fiction and non-fiction for children and young adults.

As an art-for-change advocate, Smita loves telling stories of changemakers, partnering with global non-profit organisations. She also mentors young and emerging visual storytellers through workshops organised by international schools, literature festivals and national book councils.
